It would be rather hard to record a not-lovely version of that song, wouldn’t it. Like the Paul Brady version too, love his accent (where’s he from?). Peter Case recorded a splendid version on his ‘Sings Like Hell’ album – you should check this out, but I suppose you might already know that too.

I prefer him as a folk musician than as a rock songwriter, but a major talent nonetheless…
